Mark runs the London Marathon for VICTA

Mark, one of Brace’s senior management team, took time out on Sunday to run the 2010 London Marathon.
Mark ran with his wife and a group of friends for Visually Impaired Children’s charity (VICTA) 
and completed the 26 miles in a respectable 4hrs 57mins. Brace’s Bakery are very proud of Mark’s achievement and were only too pleased to support him in his fundraising. The group of nine runners had a target of £8,000 and has exceeded this figure by nearly £2,000.
Mark said “the crowds throughout London were inspirational with their banners, bands and shouts of encouragement, I have never experienced anything like it before. It was both thrilling and tiring, a truly emotional day.”
