Chocolate Christmas Trees

I had great fun making these and I can assure you that the children will just love making and eating them. Be prepared for lots of sticky fingers!

Cooking time: 12 minutes
What do you need?
4 medium slices Brace’s white bread, crusts removed
4 teaspoons good quality chocolate spread
4 dessertspoons desiccated coconut
4 stars
24 silver confectionery balls
Let's make it
Preheat the oven to gas mark 5, 190c, 375f.
Draw the outline of a Christmas tree on a piece of paper to a size that would fit on the slice of bread. Cut it out and use it as the template to cut out a tree from each slice of bread.
Place the four trees on a baking tray and bake in the oven for 12 minutes. Remove and leave to cool.
Using a pastry brush, paint each tree with the chocolate and sprinkle with the coconut.
Decorate with the silver balls and top with a star.
