Cracking Sandwich

This recipe will certainly remove any hunger pains. It’s packed full of energy and goodness and is ideal for those particularly active days.

What do you need?
2 medium slices Brace’s wholemeal bread
3 wafer thin slices of lean ham
25g low-fat cheese, grated
1 medium free-range egg
1 tomato, sliced
Let's make it
Bring a small pan of water to the boil. Reduce to a simmer, crack the egg into it and poach for four minutes.
Meanwhile toast the slices of bread on one side under the grill.
Turn one slice over, spread with the grated cheese and return to the grill. Place the other piece on a serving plate and top with the ham. When the cheese has melted, place this slice on top of the ham, cheese side up.
Slice the tomato and arrange on top.
Drain the egg, place on top of the sandwich and savour.
