 BRACE'S SCHOOL VISITORS

Brace's school visiting programme is available to all primary/junior schools in the South Wales area. This FREE workshop, which has been designed to fit in with the national curriculum, is also used in conjunction with the current science project as 'changes in materials'.

The workshop covers: 

• A brief introduction to Brace’s Bakery
• The key stages to show how we bake bread in the factory
• A practicable bread making demonstration
• The importance of healthy eating

The presentation is aimed at children 5yrs to10yrs and lasts approximately 45 minutes, including time for questions. It is a great opportunity for children to see how the bread they eat every day is made, how it gets into their home and how it forms part of a healthy diet.

Each child will also receive an information pack and goodies to take home with them.
